Bought my first ever pair of Merrell hiking boots Bought my first ever pair of Merrell hiking boots (after the ones I had for almost 10 years fell apart) and it’s some good soup! These are the speed strikers (I originally wanted the Erie but no one had my size). I wouldn’t use these on long multi-days, but felt amazing on my two day hikes on the weekend. Very lightweight, comfortable and the grip stopped me from falling off the mountain quite a few times.
